Rashidi Yekini (23 October 1963 – 4 May 2012) was a legendary striker for the
Nigerian National Football Team. His professional career spanned more than two decades, during which he scored 37 goals in international competition, representing his nation in five major tournaments. These included two World Cups in which he scored his nation's first-ever goal in the competition.
And now a bigger-than-life wood-carved statue memorializes him in the lobby of the Administration Building just outside the
