Bridging the Gap

A major exhibit of local Queens-based artists will be arriving on 11/7 with an official opening on 11/14. It is called Bridging the Gap and will include naturalistic, decorative motifs such as Helaine Soller's Nature Symphony depicted at left.

It will also include politically charged works such as Paul Farinacci's Bound to Succeed, which can be viewed as an indictment of the strictures of traditional pedagogy.

Like all the exhibits at the QCC Art Gallery, it is free. So, stop by at your leisure to admire the creations of the artists in your midst.

Bridging the Gap will run through January 19, 2014.
