QPAC Enrichment

Marta Sozzi's Tango
Not all art is made of plaster, bronze, marble, oil, or acrylic. Some art is as ephemeral and fleeting as the first time two lovers gaze into each others' eyes. Yet evanescent as it may seem, paradoxically, it may be the most enduring of all art, for it lives in memory, heart and soul. I am, of course, discussing performance art.

And if you want to encourage your child’s musical talent, or provide your child an artistic outlet, the sort of which has been too often scaled back or eliminated entirely in current education programs, then consider the QPAC Enrichment Program.

The QPAC Enrichment Program takes place on-site from 4:00pm to 5:30pm in the QPAC facility, and provides young people with unique, “hands on” arts training by industry professionals in a supportive and creative environment. Each course offers a series of fun weekly workshops, culminating with a live performance.

Having attended a performance last year, I can personally vouch for the quality of the program, obviously the by-product of the commitment of all those involved, foremost among the rest, Executive Director of QPAC, Susan Agin.
