Meet Eshu at the QCC Art Gallery

Like so many other trickster gods, Eshu is often depicted as a messenger between the gods and people. He also carries up to heaven the sacrifices that people offer to the gods.

But he is not consider a trickster of the Yoruba people of Nigeria in West Africa for nothing, for Eshu, also known as Elegba or Legba, is unpredictable, sly, and fond of pranks that can be cruel and disruptive.

And you can meet this dastardly fellow face-to-face, when he appears at the QCC Art Gallery.
