Librarian Edye Weissler is the person who is most responsible for the success of the
Scholarship Space at the
QCC Art Gallery. For though we have a
number of generous donors to thank, and
the Director himself for understanding its potential as a resource for scholars, it is Edye who has catalogued and organized these materials, as well as creating databases that are accessible by our community and the world of art lovers.
If you've never seen the space, or accessed its materials, I'd strongly urge that you do so, as they are part of the
Schmeller Database and currently include African Art, Pre-Columbian Art, as well as Photography books and monographs of historical importance.
