Early Chinese Pottery

During the Fall of 2010, over 100 pieces of exquisite early Chinese ceramics were displayed at the QCC Art Gallery.

The pieces dated from as early as the fourth and fifth millennia B.C. to as recent as the Han Dynasty, (220 B.C. – 220 A.D.).

The Ting Cooking Pot at left dates from the Erlijing Period of the Shang Dynasty and is at least 3000 years old. It is just one example of the remarkable quality of the collection that was on display.
