Performing Arts at QCC

The QPAC Theater is in the heart of the Humanities Building at QCC-CUNY.

Despite the main focus of this blog, never think that art begins and ends with painting and sculpture. For there is another amazing resource on the QCC campus, namely the Queensborough Performing Arts Center(QPAC), that gives bold testimony to the power and majesty of that which makes us laugh, sing, dance and feel with immediacy and intensity.

Every year QPAC, quite literally, provides a stage for world-class entertainment to visit us in our own backyard of Queens. Performances are diverse in form and culture, but have a couple of things in common, they are uniformly excellent and great bargains.

The Russian National Ballet performs Swan Lake at QPAC. They'll be returning to do so again in Spring 2017.
