Other Spaces: The Well

This immense work of unknown authorship fades into the background upon which it has been mounted.

Within the confines of the Medical Arts Building at QCC-CUNY, there are a number of significant artistic works worth noting. Oddly, two of the largest and most prominently displayed are the least noticed by the general population at the College. And both of these are found in or about "the well", or cellar level.

This geode-like womb, invoking Mother Earth herself, is about to hatch our species.
