Liz Di Giorgio's New Rondel |
The clean lines, placid subtlety, and simple elegance with which she portrays her subjects render them practically irresistible to those who view them. And clearly I'm not alone in this estimation, as Liz has enjoyed solo exhibits at venues across the U.S., as well as receiving two Pollock-Krasner Foundation grants and a PSC-CUNY grant.
Furthermore, her work with students at QCC-CUNY is equally admirable, as she teaches Painting and Drawing, and incorporates Service-Learning and Global and Diversity Learning into her classes.
And as if all of that was not enough, Liz also serves as Director of the Women’s Caucus for Art Youth Representative Program at the United Nations.
For her creativity and devotion, our community is immeasurably better. Thank you, Liz!
