Nataliya Khomyak serves on the Committee on Cultural and Archival Resources and is the Cultural Liaison for the Math and Computer Science Department at QCC. As such, she is largely responsible for keeping her friends and colleagues updated on all of the upcoming events and activities at the Holocaust Resource Center, QPAC, and the QCC Art Gallery. And thus far, she's done a great job, bringing colleagues to openings, integrating the cultural resources into her own pedagogy, and introducing students to the arts.
One might wonder why she is so committed to her role? Well, the answer may lie in the fact that she is not merely an art enthusiast, but also an accomplished, largely self-taught, artist herself, dabbling in ceramics with more serious attention to oils on canvas, as the work outside President Call's Office would attest.
