Facing Asia
Come to the QCC Art Gallery today to dispel the enigma that is Asia. For though our cultures may differ, there is a very human face behind the waking dragon of the far east.
Asia: Contemporary Views will be on display at the QCC Art Gallery through the end of February, and this huge retrospective includes the works of many artists who can sensitize you to the Asian experience.
Among other works, you will find those of Bing Yang, who was born in Taiwan and trained principally as a painter and calligrapher. But he also enjoyed a successful business career in NY and today expresses himself through highly emotive photos like the one at left.
