Hungarian Art at QCC

Thanks to the discernment and generosity of a brilliant duo of doctor/researchers, the QCC Art Gallery will be able to exhibit a small gem of a collection of Hungarian Art beginning on June 5 and remaining with us for a time thereafter.

Thank you Drs. Jan Keithly and Miklos Muller

Pieces range in style and medium, but there is an emphasis on the exquisite abstractions that dominate the artistic creations of the late twentieth century.

And since many of the artists represented in the collection were friends of the collectors, several art works have personal dedications. The collection also includes an extensive library on Hungarian Art, with many volumes inscribed by artists, as well as an archive of correspondence.
