Eric Pomerance: Memories

Brownstone facades from the cast iron era of New York City architecture were featured in Memories,  a collection of watercolors displayed at the QCC Art Gallery in 2012.

Artist Eric Pomerance was born in Brooklyn, but Eric’s adolescence was shaped in part by each of his brothers’ businesses in animation and architecture. From the 1980’s until his retirement, he traveled back and forth to Amsterdam as a cameraman for Dutch Studios. The technology and new discoveries on color and light were his primary interests, while his other influences include works by graphic artists of the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
