As you may know, the QCC Art Gallery has a wonderful, in-house African Art collection of it's own. Of course, it also has a a fine tradition of displaying major, internationally acclaimed African Art exhibits on a regular basis. The most recent of these being the highly successful SHANGAA exhibit of Tanzanian Art, which was so favorably reviewed in the New York Times.
And in the near future, January 30 to be precise, another major African Art installment will be on display at the QCC Art Gallery. This one is entitled Powerful Arts of Cameroon, and it will run until March 10.
In preparation for your visit, why not visit the Gallery and view some of the pieces of the permanent collection now on display? Or browse the Gallery's archive of former African-themed triumphs, like SHANGAA, BUNDU, and others? Or possibly purchase some African Art tomes from the Gallery's Gift Shop?
