We Have A Winner

Josephine Pantaleo
You have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat Josephine Pantaleo, the Director of the Academic Literacy Learning Center and of the Service Learning Project at QCC-CUNY.

Although a number of our colleagues answered the first contest question correctly, Josephine responded nine minutes after the question was posed, and so we crown her the winner of the first contest. Congratulations for such stellar alacrity, Josephine!

The first contest answer:
The three principal cultural institutions at QCC-CUNY are the Kupferberg Holocaust Resource Center and Archives, the Performing Arts Center: QPAC, and the QCC Art Gallery.

The second contest question:
When first built, what was the function of the Oakland Building that now houses the QCC Art Gallery?

Remember, if you are a member of the QCC-CUNY faculty, staff, or student-body and believe you know the answer, simply click the contact link on the upper right to submit your response.

After a week or so, I'll see who was first to submit a correct answer. That respondent will receive a small token of their victory as well as acknowledgement in this space.
