Having studied art at the University of Cincinnati, NYU, City College of New York and the Art Students League, Judith teaches drawing and painting at Nassau Community College, Queensborough Community College and at the University of Hawaii in Hilo.
In 2008 her painting won a first prize in the East Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art Juried Competition. She has had numerous solo shows in New York, and her paintings are included in private collections in the United States and abroad.
As to her teaching philosophy: Judith stated, "...as a teacher of painting and drawing, I encourage my students to be open to all influences, no matter the ‘ism’ — to stretch beyond their personal tastes."
