Winter is as good a season as any to visit the QCC Art Gallery.
First, some of the finest and most elaborate exhibits of the year are still on display.Second, you'll often have the place to yourself, which may enhance your contemplation and appreciatiion of the art, deepening the experience and the edification gleaned from your visit.
Third, when it's cold outside, it's warm in the gallery. Art, even more so than people, requires gentle and consistent climes in which to flourish.
And fourth, as always, it's free! But don't let that stop you from dropping a buck or two in the donation box as you enter. Such excellence does not come cheaply.
