Thank You, Mr. Warkow
Stewart J. Warkow, has spent much of his life working with and for those who cultivate the musical arts. But he has spent an equal amount of time, energy and passion assembling one of the premier private collections of African Art known to exist in our region. And now, with grace and magnanimity, he has seen fit to bestow a large proportion of his finest pieces on the QCC Art Gallery. Additionally, he has made significant and integral contributions to the new space that is being developed for scholarly research at the Gallery.
The addition of these pieces will make an already powerful Permanent African Art Collection at the QCC Art Gallery even more formidable and definitive. Stop by today to enjoy the partial reinstallation of these works. And while you are there, give thanks for souls as sensitive, discerning and generous as Mr. Warkow and all the other patrons who have supported the Gallery over the years without whom the Gallery would not exist in its present, glorious state.
